lhasa Apso Sleeping in a Computer Bed

Why throw away a computer screen when you can make it into a computer bed? Mama and I are huge fans of recycling, so we were thrilled when we can across this set of pictures on Flickr.

This is Zelda, and she is a sweet Lhasa Apso puppy. (Yes, this is shocking! She looks exactly like a blonde Shih Tzu, but she is really a Lhasa Apso.)

To transform your old, no-longer-needed computer screen into a super creative and comfortable doggie bed, all you have to do is cut out the glass and anything else that might be behind it. Insert a comfy pillow and a sleepy puppy, and you have a perfect recycled dog bed.

I think little Zelda is quite comfortable in her computer dog bed. Don’t you agree?

Curious to see what Zelda looks like up close? Isn’t she just the most precious lhasa apso puppy you’ve ever seen? So cute!

Wondering why the Lhasa Apso looks nearly identical to the Shih Tzu? The Shih Tzu is actually the direct descendant of this dog breed. Long, long ago, in China, the Lhasa Apso was bred with the Pekingese to create the Shih Tzu breed. Cool, huh?

Lhasa Apso 101

The Lhasa Apso is a beautiful, small dog breed that has a mischievous and independent personality. Friendly and lively, this dog makes a wonderful companion and they are excellent watchdogs. Like the Shih Tzu, Lhasas come in a variety of colors – ranging from black to light blonde. It’s common for Lhasa Apsos to have black tippings on their face and ears.

One of the longest living dog breeds, Lhasa Apso can live up to 20 years (and some even longer). They have few breed-specific health problems, and DNA analysis has identified the Lhasa Apso as one of the 14 most ancient dog breeds.

The Lhasa Apso has its origins in Tibet, near the city of Lhasa, in the Himalayan Mountains. This ancient dog breed served as a watchdog for Buddhist monks and Tibetan nobility. Because of their history of being watch dogs, Lhasas can be suspicious of strangers, so early socialization is a must for Lhasa Apso puppies.

First recognized by the AKC in 1935, the Lhasa Apso belongs to the Non-Sporting group. They are slightly larger than Shih Tzu; and the breed standard can weigh between 12 and 18 pounds.

Brilliant idea! I also love that it’s repurposing something that would otherwise end up at the city dump or elsewere.

What type of puppy is it? because dinfreeft dogs need dinfreeft training. But try crateing (look it up on google) but dogs can’t “hold it” as we say they have to go when they have to go so if they do have an “accident” just give it a good stern “No” and don’t let the dog see you cleaning up the “accident” and always praise it with a treat or a cuddle or something whenever it’s been good or done something you wanted. if you need more help just go to a libary and get a book about your type of dog they help alot.
